Silverheart is a roleplaying game where the goal is to learn a bit about Kongsberg at the end of the 1700s while having fun along the way.

The end of the 1700s?

In 1770, Kongsberg was Norway's second largest town after Bergen. In 1805 the Silver Works shut down most of its operations, the very foundation of the town's existence. It is in this time of crisis, with layoffs and cutbacks, that the game takes place.

Anniversary Roleplaying Game

Silverheart was developed with support from Kongsberg Municipality and the Norwegian Mining Museum, in connection with Kongsberg's 400-year celebration in 2024. The game was given as a gift to the town's lower secondary schools, and is used today as a tool for learning.
