I have several exciting projects underway, both nationally and internationally. From translating Silverheart into English to finishing new modules. Here is a summary of what has happened lately.
International Projects
The work of translating Sølvhjerte (Silverheart) into English is well underway. This is a fun but time-consuming process. Over 40 hours have already gone into this project, and I expect it will take around 100 hours in total. I look forward to seeing how the game will be received by an international audience. Aiming for an English Kickstarter in Q4 2025.
In addition, I was interviewed on an international YouTube channel about roleplaying games. The request came out of the blue, but it turned into a nice conversation and a fun experience that gave me the chance to talk about Silverheart, Kvad, and roleplaying in general. Check out the video here.

Game Forlag is also working on translating and preparing Kvad for the international market. The game has also reached its third printing in Norwegian, which is great fun!
Dragepust Module
I have also finished writing the Dragepust module Kammerpikene! After the successful Kickstarter in 2023, I was asked to write an adventure as a paid commission. It was a real honor to be asked, and of course I said yes! This has been a very cool assignment and a milestone in my creative work. Spillforlaget contributed as great sparring partners with useful feedback and gave the adventure text a beautiful visual design. The module was playtested over two evenings in Kongsberg at Manaheim, and I had a fantastic experience with the player group. The adventure will be released to the public in 2025.

Silverheart at HexCon
This fall, Silverheart was played at HexCon in Trondheim, led by none other than Petter Fornes. He wrote the adventure himself, and it is called "En nattmanns død!" (The Death of a Night Man). The introduction to the adventure reads as follows:
"People are complaining that the latrines haven't been emptied in days. Night man Peder Nielsen is dead. At least he is lying in his cabin without moving. No one has been willing to go in and check on him. According to old superstition, contact with the night man brings dishonor, and gossip travels fast in Kongsberg. Magistrate Sverdrup is struggling to find anyone willing to carry out the body and bury it, thereby making themselves unclean in the eyes of the rest of the town. Only someone truly desperate and drowning in debt would take on a job like that..."
After running the adventure, Petter was kind enough to also write a bit about how it went:
“I got to run a small session of Silverheart at HexCon this weekend! I had four friendly players from the organizing committee, and I certainly enjoyed myself. Some of them were very knowledgeable, so I learned a lot myself (and got a little worried that plot holes might surface). Rolling up characters went quickly with a player booklet for each. When every single one rolled that they lived in a cramped corner of a small house where someone else already lived, we immediately figured out how they knew each other. My adventure has a small mystery at its core, and the players uncovered enough to exploit the situation and pressure someone into paying off their entire debt, before we wrapped up within the available time of 2h20m. It was the sixth time I ran the adventure, so now I think I have to call it done and try to get my notes cleaned up.”
Fantastic! It is wildly fun that someone else wants to run and write something for Silverheart. I have also had the chance to both playtest and read this adventure, and it holds a very high standard. I look forward to seeing it when it is finished.

A Creative Advent
I recently took part in roleplaying practitioner Bjørn Ove Asprem's creative advent calendar on the Discord of rollespill.info . I recommend everyone head over there to read through the contributions. My contribution, “Stein i Sverd i Stein” (Stone in Sword in Stone), was opened on December 20. Here is a small taste:
“This magical sword still waits for The Chosen One. It lures with a beautiful melody that can be heard for miles, calling one person at a time. Many have tried to pull the sword from the stone, but so far no one has succeeded. Once, a barbarian named Stein tried. When he failed, he flew into such a rage that he hammered away at the rock around the blade and hacked the whole chunk loose with raw force. For a short while he used the sword as a club, before it punished him by absorbing his soul into itself. Now two souls share the sword: the original spirit, who sings for The Chosen One, and Stein, who wants that damned stone crushed.”

All in all, it is an incredibly exciting time with many projects in motion. I look forward to taking on 2025!
Thank you for reading and for all the support.
